Does genfolder backup everything on my computer? No, it only backs up the files that are located in your DATA directory. This directory is usually c:\My Documents; however, you can name this directory anything you wish. We will backup anything in this directory including all sub-directories underneath it.
Does GenFolder copy my entire database every time I make a change? No, this is one of the wonderful features of genfolder. Our software detects the changes you have made to a file and then encrypts only those changes and sends them to our server. No need to copy 10 Mb database files when you only changed one word! How much storage do I get with genfolder? Your basic subscription is for 100 Mb but there is really no limit to the amount of data you can store. You will be charged an additional $0.135 for every megabyte over the first 100 or you may purchase additional blocks of storage in 100 Mb increments at $1.35 per 100 Mb. The rate goes down after you reach one gigabyte. Drop us an email if you have a specific question. What happens when I exceed my storage limit? Your system will notify you that you have exceeded your limit and will ask you to email us if you want more. How do I contact genfolder? For pre-sales related questions email sales@genfolder.com.
