What is foldering technology?  Foldering is the automatic backup and/or copying of data to a remote data storage system.

I lost my hard drive.  How do I get my data back?  After you have installed your new hard drive and recovered your operating system, you go to our website and download our client software.  Next you install our client software and login.  genfolder does the rest.  Shortly, your data will be fully restored for you.

How do I install the genfolder software?  You go to our website and download and save to your desktop the client software.  Just follow the onscreen instructions.  Next close all programs on your computer and launch the client install program you just downloaded.  Follow the step-by-step instructions.  After the install is complete, just login.

Is my data safe?  Yes!  Before your data ever leaves your computer it is encrypted.  Encryption is how banks and the government communicate across the internet.  Only you have the key to unlock this data.  Your data is stored on our servers encrypted.  We can not see or read it.  When you need it, it is sent back to you encrypted and again only you can decrypt it.

What is encryption?  Encryption is a technology used by the banking and government to communicate securely.  All of your data is converted to zeros and ones.  Next a mathematical formula is used to scramble these binary numbers.  Your pass phase is the master key to this formula.  The results are then transmitted to our server.  Only you with your pass phase can reverse this scrambling.
